BENV Kiwanis planning ‘Media-thon’ for Children’s Miracle Network

MILL HALL, PA – The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle & Nittany Valleys will be conducting a Media-thon fundraising event for Children’s Miracle Network and The Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital for the month of June 2021. Since the club’s charter nine years ago, it has partnered with CMN in various fundraisers and participated in its annual telethons at the Geisinger hospital in Danville. The telethon will not be held this year so Kiwanis of BENV looked for a way it could help to fill the fundraising gap. The club will be promoting CMN throughout the month of June through social and print media and will end the fundraiser with a Mini-Telethon (Media-thon) on Sunday, June 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Miller Brothers Auto Sales in Mill Hall. Any donations made throughout the month or on June 27 will be appreciated, but donors who make a gift or pledge of $6 per month for six months ($36.00) will be matched by BENV Kiwanis donating a new book to Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in the donor’s name.

You may also mail donations made payable to BENV Kiwanis to PO Box 53, Mill Hall, PA 17751. BENV will combine all donations received and submit them directly to Children’s Miracle Network.
