Memorial Day 2021

CLINTON COUNTY, PA – The sun is shining brightly on Memorial 2021 across Clinton County, a day marked by veterans groups’ rifle squads at cemeteries, paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States.

The day is also being marked by family gatherings, the first since many of the restrictions imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic have now been lifted.

There will be the annual parade in Loganton, scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Main Street, followed by a Memorial Day program at the monument at Main and Mill Streets, and the BBQ at Sugar Valley Fire Company.

The annual Beech Creek/Blanchard parade, a Memorial Day mainstay for more than a century, has been canceled for a second year in a row, due to the coronavirus.
