Lock Haven road projects underway
LOCK HAVEN, PA – A sub-contractor with general contractor Gutelius Excavating of Mifflinburg began milling work on E. Water Street in Lock Haven on Monday, part of the preparation work for the Water Street resurfacing project from Jay Street eastward.
According to city public works director Tony Stopper, the milling phase of the project will last two days. The Gutelius firm will also be resurfacing the streets in the vicinity of the new Geisinger clinic: Fourth Street from N. Fairview Street to the railroad crossing and Spring Street from Fourth Street to the entrance of the nearby Fairfield Inn.
The improvements are being funded by Community Development Block Grant dollars.
