Clinton Medical Associates Locked Up

No Word on a Reopening

LAMAR TOWNSHIP — Clinton Medical Associates, a primary care medical facility along Route 64, has been locked up without any public explanation.

Patients were at the site during the day today, unable to gain access, the building’s doors locked and apparently no one inside.

One would-be patient told The Record he arrived at 1:10 p.m. for a 1:20 p.m. appointment to have his toe attended to, but calls to the firm’s phone number went unreturned.

Calls to the Clinton Medical Associates phone number were met with a pre-recorded message which said CMA “is now closed and will remain closed until further notice.” Callers were asked to contact some other medical facility for care.

Local law enforcement officials were contacted and said they had no information on the shutdown. One source told The Record there had been vehicles from some outside-the-county agency in the parking lot earlier.
