COVID-19 Update: Clinton Up 33; Centre Up 73; Lyco Up 17
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Sunday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., December 27, that there were 4,884 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 610,025. That is the smallest daily increase in cases in over a month.
As of 11:59 p.m. Saturday, December 26, there were 127 new deaths reported statewide for a total of 15,010 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The Clinton County death total due to COVID-19 remained at 22.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 33 to 1,835; Centre County, up 73 to 8,745; Lycoming up 17 to 5,600. Other area counties include Cameron, 134; Clearfield, 3,798; Potter, 558; and Union, 2,773.
Thus far 7.299 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, up 26 from Saturday.
