Downtown Rotary Remembers Veterans

The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven delivered holiday gifts for 44 veterans who live in care facilities throughout Clinton County. Rotarians and friends delivered the gift bags the first week of December, allowing time for the bags to “rest” as a Covid-19 precaution before the veterans receive them at holiday time.

Gifts have been delivered to Susque-View Home, Haven Place, Fulmer’s Personal Care Home, and Heartland Retirement Personal Care Home. Bombria, who lives in Renovo, made the deliveries to Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home and Bucktail Medical Center Nursing Home.

Each gift bag includes a card thanking the veteran for his or her service.
