COVID-19 Update: Clinton, Up 41; Centre, Up 100; Lyco, Up 79
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Wednesday said that as of 12:00 a.m., Dec.9, that statewide there were 8,703 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 445,317.
The state reported an additional 220 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, the state total 11,762. The 220 figure is a new high for most deaths reported in one day.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 41 to 1,035; Centre County, up 100 to 7,076; Lycoming up 79 to 3,057. Other area counties include Cameron, 42; Clearfield, 2,420; Potter, 372; and Union, 1,984.
Thus far 6,303 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, an increase of 27 from Tuesday.
