COVID-19 Update: Clinton, Up 13; Centre, Up 23; Lyco, Up 64

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Monday said that as of 12:00 a.m., Dec.7, that statewide there were 6,330 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 426,444. The new one-day caseload is down more than half from Saturday’s one-day record of 12,884.

The state reported an additional 42 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, the state total 11,373.

Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 13 to 957; Centre County, up 23 to 6,889; Lycoming up 64 to 2,913. Other area counties include Cameron, 32; Clearfield, 2,222; Potter, 346; and Union, 1,919.

Thus far 6,252 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, an increase of four from Sunday.
