COVID-19 Update: New State Case Record; Clinton, Up 28; Centre, Up 119; Lyco, Up 91
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Friday said that as of 12:00 a.m., Dec. 4, that statewide there were a record 11,763 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 398,600. The 11,763 new cases exceeds the one-day high established on Thursday at 11,496 cases.
The state reported an additional 169 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, the state total 11,113.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 28 to 850; Centre County, up 119 to 6,657; Lycoming up 91 to 2,601. Other area counties include Cameron, 32; Clearfield, 2,047; Potter, 321; and Union, 1,829.
Thus far 6,228 Clinton County residents have tested negative for COVID-19, an increase of 33 from Thursday.
