Downtown Lock Haven Gets Spiffy for the Holidays

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The newly revitalized Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. is spearheading a variety of activities as part of the holiday shopping season.

They include promotion of Saturday’s “Small Business Saturday.” It will be the kickoff of four such weekends promoting shopping in the city’s downtown. The downtown area has been marked by the addition of four news businesses this month.

The downtown group has completed Main Street decorations and Friday saw Downtown board president/Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding decorating a vacant storefront (see photo). She said it is part of the downtown’s group to assist property owners in establishing a storefront holiday motif.

The organization is also conducting a Downtown Digital Passport promotion, an online opportunity for virtual customers to sign up and win prizes from multiple Lock Haven businesses. Details can be found at the downtown group’s facebook page @DowntownLH.
