Lock Haven Issues Boil Water Advisory for Portion of E. Water Street
LOCK HAVEN, PA β City Hall announced Tuesday morning that residents along a several block section of E. Water Street should boil their drinking water until further notice after some line work in that vicinity on Monday.
The city announcement:
ATTENTION RESIDENTS: BOIL WATER ADVISORY
THE RESIDENTS OF 105 TO 320 E WATER STREET (EXCLUDING THE COURTHOUSE) MAY BE AT INCREASED RISK FOR MICROBIAL CONTAMINATION. ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, 2020 WE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POSITIVE WATER PRESSURE DUE TO THE MAIN BEING TURNED OFF FOR REPAIRS. RESIDENTS SHOULD NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. BRING ALL WATER TO A ROLLING BOIL, LET IT BOIL FOR ONE MINUTE, AND LET IT COOL BEFORE USING; OR USE BOTTLED WATER. YOU SHOULD USE BOILED OR BOTTLED WATER FOR DRINKING, MAKING ICE, WASHING DISHES, BRUSHING TEETH, AND FOOD PREPARATION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WE WILL INFORM YOU WHEN ALL CORRECTIVE ACTIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND WHEN YOU NO LONGER NEED TO BOIL YOUR WATER.
