COVID-19 Update: Centre Up 186; Clinton Up One, Lycoming Up Nine
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Tuesday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., September 29, that there were 1,664 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 157,814. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19.
There are 8,123 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 17 new deaths reported.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up one to 208; Centre County, up 186 to 2,667; Lycoming up nine to 699. Other area counties include Cameron, 8; Clearfield, 329; Potter, 29; and Union, 472.
There were 4,290 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 40 from Saturday.
