Sunday Show Time for Central Pennsylvania Street Machines

Don Egleston of Lock Haven is the proud owner of this 1933 Plymouth street rod. Egleston said he took stewardship of the car eight years ago from the late Ron Duffield who had acquired it in the 1950s and painstakingly restored it.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Pennsylvania Streets Machine organization picked a picture-perfect day for its September monthly car show, held until 4 p.m. this Sunday at the eastern end of the Millbrook Plaza parking lot off Hogan Boulevard.

Club President Chris Donovan said the classic vehicles on display come from Clinton, Centre and Lycoming counties. He said the Lock Haven-based street machine group holds these public events on the first Sunday of each month through the warm weather season. A final show is set for Sunday, Oct. 4.

The free show attracted a steady flow of visitors, in addition to vehicle owners who gathered to show off their cars and socialize with one-another.
