Programs for the Week of August 17th, 2020 at Little Pine State Park
(Waterville) – On Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2:30 PM, at Little Pine State Park, bring a camera or cell phone for this high tech scavenger hunt. Find the items on the list, take a photo, and get a prize for the “Photo Scavenger Hunt.” All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Also, all participants will need to follow the CDC Guidelines for social distancing and wear a mask in order to attend this program. This program will be registration only (limited to 24 people), and may be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Please make sure to register in a group if more than one person is coming. Registrations will be taken by calling 570-753-6005, or by going to DCNR’s calendar of events. Meet at the amphitheater.
On Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 5:30 PM, at Little Pine State Park, join the naturalist to take a stroll on the dam and learn the significance of “The Reservoir, the Dam, and Little Pine” to the Little Pine Creek Valley, and also to the Susquehanna River. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Also, all participants will need to follow the CDC Guidelines for social distancing and wear a mask in order to attend this program.
