Biscuit Jam Returns to Lock Haven Friday

LOCK HAVEN – Biscuit Jam, who performs unique acoustic interpretations of classic rock favorites as well as traditional folk songs and Americana-flavored original compositions, will perform at Friday’s free summer concert at the Main and Grove Street Stage, part of the weekly Pedestrian Mall. The concert begins at 6 p.m.

While beloved “sing-along” tunes are the Biscuits’ bread and butter, the group rolls a large helping of acoustic-oriented rock and blues into the mix. A Central Pennsylvania favorite, Biscuit Jam has entertained crowds at Central PA 4th Fest, Central PA Festival of the Arts, People’s Choice Fest, First Night State College, Summer’s Best Music Fest, Bellefonte Art and Crafts Fair, among others. Band Members are: Mark Hill, Kelly Countermine, and Chip Taylor. For more information about the band visit: www.reverbnation.com/biscuitjam.. The public is invited to attend this free summer concert. Seating will not be provided; therefore, the public is asked to bring a lawn chair.

While the committee is excited to offer these free concerts this summer, residents should remain vigilant to the threat of COVID-19 which has claimed the lives of more than 100,000 Americans and nearly 7,000 Pennsylvanians including three in Clinton County. In order to successfully continue the summer concert series, residents and guests are to follow CDC and DOH guidelines in order to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 including social distancing between non-household members while attending the concert, wearing masks, and sanitizing hands frequently. To that end, the city will provide hand-washing stations at each of the summer concerts. Anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or is included in a higher risk population are encouraged to keep their health and the health of their fellow residents as their primary interest and not attend.
