And the Winners Are…

 

LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Commissioners on Monday announced the winners in their coloring contest/county slogan contest. They said entries were received from all local schools and those homeschooled.

First place in the slogan contest was Brooke Charney, a fifth-grader at Lock Haven Catholic School. Her entry: Where Rivers and Valleys Meet Mountains and Sunsets. The slogan will be utilized on the county’s new website under development.

All winners will receive new learning tablets. The county thanked all those who entered. Board chairman Miles Kessinger said parents of the contest winners will be contacted on how to receive the tablets.

Winners are:

Coloring Contest- Grades K-4:

Kindergarten:

1st grade:
Shayla Clouse, Liberty-Curtin
Teacher: Mrs. Kunkle
2nd grade:
Piper Grimes, Robb Elementary
Teacher: Mrs. Labe
3rd grade:

Teacher: Mrs. Witmer
4th grade:
Harper Coleman, LH Catholic School
Teacher: Mrs. Shumway
All students will receive a new electronic learning tablet.

2nd place:
Erick Hoy, 12th Grade at CM High School
“Where Nature Lives and Adventure Soars”

Brooke Charney, 5th Grade at LH Catholic School
“Where Rivers and Valleys Meet Mountains and Sunsets”
