City of Lock Haven Joins ‘Bells Across Pennsylvania Day’
LOCK HAVEN – The Pennsylvania State Mayors’ Association has initiated a “Bells Across Pennsylvania Day” for Sunday, May 3 and the City of Lock Haven is joining in.
City Mayor Joel Long has authored a proclamation for Lock Haven participation. It is aimed at recognizing “hometown heroes” in the battle against COVID-19. The mayors’ association is encouraging the staging of events that “sheltering in place will allow. 7 p.m. Sunday has been set aside encouraging all Pennsylvanians to ring bells for three minutes.
