Hands of Hope

Renovo community members have started to notice signs along Erie Avenue in Renovo and wondered what they were. Mary George Rhone took to Facebook to explain that the big sign at the start of Erie reads ‘Hands of Hope, We Are In This Together’. The hands reach to the end of Erie Avenue down to the 16th St. Park. Some of the hands have words written on them by Martha Sykes. She said “we wanted to find a way to let everyone know that we are surely here to lend a hand and to remind everyone that we are in this together. This virus is something we all fear, yet we know together, looking out for one another, we will overcome this as we do most things in our community. Reaching out to our neighbors is something our area has mastered through the years.
