Statewide COVID-19 Total at 2,218

HARRISBURG – The state Health Department Friday said that 50 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties now have confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of two since Thursday. Clinton County remains among the now 17 counties without a confirmed case in the state registry.

Updated figures show Centre County with 11 cases, up two from Thursday. Lycoming now has two, up from one on Thursday. A first case was reported for Union County on Friday. Other mid-state figures: Clearfield, 2; Potter, 1; and Cameron, 0.

The new numbers show 2,218 cases with 531 new cases compared to Thursday. The death total is now at 22, compared to 16 on Thursday. Statewide, 21,016 have tested negative for COVID-19.
