Coronavirus Reported in Centre, Potter Counties
HARRISBURG – The state Health Department reported on Friday the biggest one-day increase in coronavirus cases across the state. And for the first time, cases have been reported in two counties bordering on Clinton County. They are Centre and Potter counties, each reporting one case. No additional information was provided on the communities where the victims reside. There have been no cases reported in Clinton County or in any other abutting counties.
Health officials today said there are 83 new cases, the statewide total now at 268. The state yesterday reported 52 new cases. A week ago there had been 41 confirmed cases in Pennsylvania.
The Health Department said 2,574 patients have tested negative.
