Lady Wildcat Volleyball Rallies 3-1 over Mifflin County
LEWISTOWN – The Central Mountain volleyball team picked up four set road win over Mifflin County tonight.
Mifflin County edged out Central Mountain in the first set of the night 27-25, then the Lady ‘Cats rallied for three straight sets to win, 25-23, 25-17 and 25-12.
McKenzi Hanna had 5 aces for CM followed by Evie Rembold with 3 aces while Abby Brinker, Abby Lee and Loni Duck had 2 aces each. Rembold had 14 kills with Duck right behind with 13 kills.
“Both teams played well and had some really long rallies and exciting points,” said CM head coach Scott Garman, “The girls fought to the end and came away with a hard fought road victory. Mifflin County was greatly improved from the first time we played.
Next up for the Lady Wildcats is a home game, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 with Bellefonte for Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness night on Wednesday against Bellefonte.
