Police Stand-Off in Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN – There is a large scale police presence on Bald Eagle St. in Lock Haven where authorities are seeking a resident there wanted in connection with a reported shooting earlier Wednesday night in Williamsport.

State police said they were alerted just before 8 p.m. about the Williamsport incident, allegedly involving the Lock Haven man.

Authorities blocked off the area near the Broken Axe tavern, nearby residents reported to be asked to leave.

While social media carried reports of a “be on the lookout” for this man, police, as of 11 p.m., were not releasing an identity.
