One Person Dead in Storm Accident in Western Clinton County

EAST KEATING – State police are investigating report of a fatal storm-related accident in rural Clinton County on Saturday.

Few details are yet available but multiple media outlets are reporting that three people were kayaking on the Susquehanna in East Keating Township and left the water when a storm developed. An unconfirmed report said a tree came down and struck the three, killing one of them, the other two taken to Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo for treatment.

Names of the victims were not immediately available.
