Riverside Cleanup for Lock Haven’s Sunday Summer Concert
LOCK HAVEN – City officials are hoping this coming Sunday’s weather forecast holds and Lock Haven’s summer concert series can be held at its regular venue, the Corman Amphitheater along the Susquehanna River.
Rain knocked out the June 16 concert and the June 23 concert was switched to Woodward Township’s Riverview Park due to high water. The forecast for the Sunday, June 30 concert is encouraging, partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-80s.
City crews on Wednesday were hard at work at the amphitheater site, removing accumulated debris and repositioning the floating stage for Sunday’s concert. The stage mooring had been shored up because of high water late last week.
Appearing Sunday will be local “arena rock” band, Rize. The Clark McLane Band is scheduled to perform Friday at Triangle Park.
