Lock Haven Sunday Concert Moved to Woodward Township’s Riverview Park
LOCK HAVEN – High water on the Susquehanna River has forced the City of Lock Haven to move its scheduled Sunday, June 23 concert from the Corman Amphitheatre across the river to Woodward Township.
While the weather forecast for Sunday is fine, the water level is over the walkway in front of the amphitheater (and city crews were at work Friday afternoon securing the floating stage). As a result the Sunday concert featuring the Rocky Allen Band will be held at Riverview Park in Lockport.
Woodward Township has offered the use of its facility to the city as a stage will be in place from the township’s first “Saturday in the Park” concert this Saturday, June 22. Banded Together will be performing. Both the Saturday and Sunday concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Lock Haven’s Friday concert will go on as scheduled at Triangle Park, the Lindy Sisters appearing at 6 p.m.
