Furniture Left at Lock Haven Recycling Drop-Off Center

LOCK HAVEN – Daybreak Monday brought the most recent violation of Lock Haven’s no-dumping edict at the city’s recycling drop-off center off Park Street.

Anything left outside the Clinton County Solid Waste Authority recycling bins is illegal, from cardboard to the furniture left there over the weekend. City manager Greg Wilson told therecord-online, “When people illegally dump items at the city’s recycling drop-off center, the city must pay its crews to pickup and dispose of the items.”

Wilson noted, “This is a crime, as is dumping everything else that people do outside of the bins.”
