Lady ‘Cats Wallop Altoona, 10-0
ALTOONA – Central Mountain picked up a non-conference 10-0 road win over the Lady Mountain Lions.
Leading the way for the Lady ‘Cats was Autumn Dershem who went 3-4 at the plate for a double and 2 singles and 3 RBI. Morgan Wetzel had a pair of base hits and 2 RBI with Cassidy Brush also contributing a pair of singles.
Madalyn Bechdel, Riley Houser, Caitlyn Watson and Jessica Carlson all had 1 base hit each against Altoona.
Madi Knepp worked the circle for 6 innings for the Lady Wildcats allowing 3 hits, 2 walks, striking out 4 Altoona batters.
The win balances the scales for Central Mountain at 9-9 for the season and they will next face the Little Lions in State College on Monday, May 13, 2019.
