Two New Grads from LHU ROTC Program
LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University held its ROTC commissioning last Thursday. Two LHU seniors were honored with scholarships. Matthew Holt, of Morrisdale and a computer science major, will serve the PA National Guard as a signal officer.
Lane Hassenplug, of Mifflinburg and a physics major, will serve in the Army Reserves as an engineer officer.
Both students graduated in December. President Robert Pignatello gave opening remarks during the ceremony and the guest speaker was John Yonkin, a 1981 graduate and the first LHU ROTC scholarship recipient.
