Goulden Touch Foundation Announces Awards
San Francisco place-kicker Robbie Gould’s Goulden Touch Foundation on Tuesday presented six area organizations $5,000 each, part of the Foundation’s giving of more than $300,000 over the last eight years.
Recipients included Horses of Hope, represented by program president/director Laurie Flanagan; the Lock Haven Salvation Army, Captain Dan Johnson; Central Mountain ATV Association; Henry Sorgen IV; Ross Library, Mary Jane Isenberg; Lock Haven University wrestling, head coach Scott Moore, assistant Nate Carr Jr.; and Lock Haven University men’s soccer, Robbie Gould, Sr.
The awards were part of the proceeds from the annual foundation ‘Windy City Kicker Classic’ golf tournament. A spokesman said all bequests have been to Clinton County organizations.
Gould is in his 14th NFL season and ranks among the all-time leaders in field goal percentage, 346 out of 396 for an 87.4 percent mark. This season he is 21 of 22 in field goals and 19 of 20 in extra points. He is a Central Mountain High School and Penn State graduate.
