Alexander Subaru Presents Books to Central Mountain Middle School.
MILL HALL – The Central Mountain Middle School was this year’s recipient of Alexander Subaru’s “Subaru Loves Learning” program which provides books to local schools, presented on behalf of Subaru purchasers.
Dave Kelley, Alexander Subaru general manager, presented the boxes of best-selling middle school-age books to the middle school on Friday. Kelley said the estimated value of the books is $2,000. Presentation participants included his daughter, Addison, a seventh-grader. Kelley said the books are presented inscribed with the names of Subaru purchasers during the annual event at the Montoursville dealership.
Previous book recipients included Bucktail, Loyalsock Township and Montoursville High Schools.
The Friday event was in conjunction with a Subaru partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Kelley also presented the middle school with AAAS science activity booklets.
