KCSD Schools Closed Tuesday Due to Flooding Concerns
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Just hours after announcing that Keystone Central Schools were planning to reopen Tuesday after dealing with a mold situation at two district schools, the district posted on its website Monday evening that all schools would remain closed on Tuesday.
The brief announcement said the closure was “due to the rain and localized flooding.” Additionally, the district said, all offices will also be closed on Tuesday.
An earlier Monday announcement had warned that rain and prospective flooding could alter the decision to reopen the schools on Tuesday.
That earlier word did say that testing over the weekend determined that two rooms within district schools had been cleared of mold and cleared for occupancy.
