The assault case took place Tuesday, July 17 at 10 p.m. Police said they received multiple calls of a male outside a residence on Grahams Lane in Beech Creek Township; according to their investigation, the man, an unidentified 48-year-old from Renovo, was involved in a verbal argument with another man, a 44-year-old from Beech Creek. Police said the Renovo man was waving a handgun in the air. Prior to the police arrival, the investigating officer said, the arrestee drove off. The vehicle was located on Route 150 near Masden Hollow Road and a traffic stop made. Their investigation determined the argument was between the person charged and his separated wife’s boyfriend.

The police report said the verbal argument became physical when the actor went to his vehicle and retrieved a .45 semi-automatic pistol and waved it about. Police took him into custody shortly thereafter. He was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. Their release did not identify the accused.
