CM Falls to Mifflinburg in Final Match of the Season, 4-1

tennisBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – IN the final match of the season Mifflinburg came to town and earned a 4-1 win over the Wildcats in boys’ tennis.

Nolan Beck defeated CM’s Matt Schubach, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Mifflinburg’s Brahm Buoy picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win over Central Mountain’s Raahi Chapla at No. 2 singles. Then at No. 3 singles, Mifflinburg picked up another win with Tom Lichtel edging CM’s Morgan Talbot] 6-7, 6-0, 10-6.

Central Mountain picked up their lone win of the match when Micah Brinker and Gavyn Walker defeated Mifflinburg’s Ben Haines and McClenason Wagner, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. At no. 2 doubles, Mifflinburg’s Jason Schanck and Braden Hurst defeated Central Mountain’s Kaden Powers and Ujjval Adroja, 6-3, 6-0.

Central Mountain closes to the season with a 7-10 record. Mifflinburg stands at 10-5.
