LHU Saturday Undergraduate Commencement Moved Indoors
LOCK HAVEN — Due to the probability of rain, thunderstorms, and high winds during the Lock Haven University undergraduate commencement exercises scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12 in Hubert Jack Stadium, the university is moving commencement indoors. There will be no change to Friday night’s graduate commencement ceremony.

10 a.m. Saturday, May 12 — undergraduate, last names beginning with A through L
1 p.m. Saturday, May 12 — undergraduate, last names beginning with M through Z
WHERE: Price Performance Center — graduate ceremony
Thomas Field House — undergraduate ceremonies
Two ceremonies will be held for the undergraduates on Saturday, both of them inside Thomas Field House.
Ceremony one, for students whose last names begin with A through L, will be held at 10 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Ceremony two, for students whose last names begin with M through Z, is set for 1 p.m. Students and their guests should come after noon and seating will begin around 12:30 p.m. Students and guests may wait in the Parsons Union Building on campus.
Mandatory commencement rehearsal for undergraduate students will be held at noon on Friday, May 11 in the field house. Doors will open at 11 a.m. to pick up tickets, name cards and-or honors cords.
Overflow seating will be available in Price Auditorium and the Parsons Union Building, where a live webcast of the ceremonies will be shown. No tickets are required at these two locations and doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Graduate students will receive degrees in a ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, May 11 in the Price Performance Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and a ticket is required.
The mandatory rehearsal for graduate students starts at 6 p.m. in Bentley Hall, on the first floor.
Seating at Price will be on a first-come basis. Overflow seating will be available in Sloan Auditorium. No tickets will be required at this location.
