Tyrone Gets Past CM Tennis, 3-2

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Wildcat tennis team came up short against Tyrone tonight, falling in a tight match, 3-2.

CM’s Matt Schubach edged Tyrone’s Ethan Vipond, 11-10 at No. 1 singles then at No. 2 singles Paul Lemaire of the Golden Eagles got past Wildcat, Raahi Chapla, 10-2. In No. 3 singles action Morgan Talbotpicked up Central Mountains second win over Tyrone’s Noah Irvin, 10-0.

Tyrone’s Caden Brooks and Brandon Kemp defeated CM’s Micah Brinker and Gavyn Walker, 10-7 at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles, the Golden Eagles prevailed once more with Caleb Orr and Hunter Reese taking wildcats, Ujjval Adroja and Tyler Cygan, 10-8.

Central Mountain will return to action when they travel to Jersey Shore on Monday, May 7, 2018.
