Corl PSUAC Pitcher of the Week

DUBOIS – On April 24, the Penn State University Athletic Conference named  Toner Corl Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Corl, a former Central Mountain Wildcat, tossed a complete game shutout of Penn State Beaver this week, going nine innings while scattering five hits to pick up the win and solidify DuBois’ number one seed in the PSUAC West. Corl struck out six batters while only walking two.

For the season, Corl has made six appearances on the mound, 3 as the starter and has earned 3 wins, one loss and throwing 15 strikeouts in the process for a 2.17 ERA.

Offensively, Corl has been hitting .313 with 1 homer, 14 RBI and 7 stolen bases.
