Lewisburg Hands Wildcats 4-1 Loss
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Green Dragons came to town today and handed the Wildcats a 4-1 on the tennis courts.
Lewisburg’s Carter Casimir defeated CM’s Matt Schubach, 6-1. 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Green Dragon, Drew King took down Wildcat Raahi Chapla, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Peter Kinnaman completed the singles sweep with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Central Mountain’s Morgan Talbot at No. 3.
Central Mountain’s Micah Brinker and Gavyn Walker picked up the Wildcat’s lone win with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over the Green Dragon’s Zach Higgins and David Han at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles, Cole Temple and Sawyer Fisher closed out Lewisburg;s effort with a 6-1, 6-3 over CM’s Kaden Powers and Tyler Cygan.
The loss takes the Wildcats to 6-7 on the season.
The Wildcats have the District 6 doubles tournament on Wednesday, May 2 and will host Milton on Thursday, May 3.
