BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Keystone Central Field and Floor Booster Club hosted its annual Tournament Indoor Association (TIA) competition this past Saturday, Feb. 24, at Central Mountain High School. The Booster Club welcomed over 20 competitive groups from all over Pennsylvania and Maryland. Of those groups were Central Mountain’s Majorettes and Color Guard.

We are pleased to introduce the 2018 Central Mountain Twirlers and Color Guard after their exceptional debut performance on Saturday. The groups consist of students within Keystone Central School District and Sugar Valley Rural Charter School in grades 7-12. The CM Twirler’s show theme this year takes a dark approach to the Ouija Board as a young girl finds herself trapped within the game and unsure what the outcome will be. The CM Color Guard turns the floor into a magical frost allowing the snowflakes to take you on a journey through the season. At the end of the competition is of course the awards ceremony, Central Mountain represented their school with pride bringing home two first place finishes.

The Twirlers and Color Guard will also be competing at some additional competitions local to the area. Jersey Shore on March 24th and Bald Eagle Area on April 7th. Central Mountain High School will also be hosting TIA Region 4 Chapter Championships on April 29th, before heading to Wildwood, New Jersey on May 2nd to compete in All Chapter Championships.
