Bucks Fall 85-48 to Muncy

FARWELL – The Bucks (1-4) just could not keep up with the Muncy Indians offense as they scored 32 points in the fourth quarter to a final 85-48.

Muncy came out running from the start with a 5-0 run before Bucktail would score its first two points of the game. Even with Muncy running all night, Bucktail did show some resiliency as Gage Conway hit a three and tied the game 7-7 at the 3:42 mark in the first quarter. Muncy would answer right back with two three’s of their own.

It was 41-23 at the half as the Bucks came out of the lockeroom firing from around the horn. Bucktail would outscore the Indians in the third quarter 17-12. Just as they cut the score to within 13 (53-40). Muncy came out in the fourth quarter running just like the first half. Bucktail would have no answer in the paint as the Indians just drove on the Bucks for the easy two points.

Bucktail Liam Dwyer led the way with 14 points. Aaron lucas had 10 and Gage Conway helped with 9 points. Rounding out Bucks scoring was Devin Serafini 5, Gavin Becker 3, Tony Pentz 3 and Cameron Sockman 2.

Muncy was lead by Kelley Moyer 21, Noah Ramsza 17, Dylan Wilt 13, Nathan Paisley 12, Matt Cayner 8, Jordan Yapler 7.

Next game for the Bucks is Monday at home against South Williamsport. JV Game starts at 6 p.m.
