Lady Bald Eagles Fall in a Tight Battle with Concord
FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Kayla Henderson(Philadelphia/Lackawanna College) led the Bald Eagles on offense, however the Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (0-2) dropped Saturday’s game to Concord University (1-1) 73-68.
The contest was the second of two games for Lock Haven at the 2017 Mountain East Conference (MEC)/Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Challenge, hosted by Fairmont State. LHU fell to host Fairmont State Friday to open the season.
Henderson was terrific the entire game as she went eight for twelve from the field for a team-high 18 points. She also chipped in with five rebounds and four assists.
Rileigh Devine (Etters, Pa./Red Land) and Madison McHale (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) both were an asset on the offensive side as they scored 15 and 17, points respectively. McHale shot four from nine from behind the 3-point arc while only playing 17 minutes.
Maimuna Kenneh (Coatesville, Pa./Collegium Charter) was all over the boards as she hauled in a game-high 13.
The Haven’s bench was once again ready when called upon as LHU combined to score 25 points. In Friday’s contest the bench tallied 29 points.

The Bald Eagles will return to Thomas Fieldhouse for their home opener on Wednesday, November 15, where they are set to host Penn State Altoona at 7 p.m.
