Shik Rallies Late to Edge CM 6-5
SUNBURY – Holding a 5-2 lead going into the bottom of the fifth inning, Central Mountain gave up 3 runs and another in the bottom of the seventh inning to fall to Shikellamy, 6-5.
The Lady Wildcats had solid hitting from Autumn Young with a 2 RBI triple and a double from Morgan Wetzel and base hits from Maegan Miller, Madison Knepp and Madalyn Bechdel.
Caitlyn Brush went the distance in the circle yielding 6 hits, 3 walks and striking out 1 batter.
The loss bring the Lady ‘Cats to 6-1 in the PHAC, 9-5 overall.
Next up for Central Mountain will travel to Midd-West on Monday, May 8, 2017.
