LOCK HAVEN–The Lock Haven University football team (2-6, 2-3 PSAC East) returns home to host local-rival Bloomsburg University (5-3, 3-2 PSAC East) on Saturday, October 29 in Week 9 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action. Kickoff Saturday is set for 12 p.m.

Despite another strong 60 minutes of football, which was sparked offensively by quarterback Caleb Walton and running back John Ford, the Bald Eagles bid for a third straight win came up short last week (Saturday, Oct. 22) at Kutztown as the Golden Bears held on for a 35-29 victory.

LHU entered the Week 8 PSAC East clash at Kutztown riding a two-game win streak, thanks to back-to-back wins over Cheyney and Millersville. Lock Haven was in search of its first three-game win streak since 1981 when the Bald Eagles opened the season 4-0.

Bloomsburg will enter the game at 5-3 overall and the Huskies are coming off a 34-14 Week 8 win over East Stroudsburg University. The PSAC East win over ESU pushed Bloomsburg to 3-2 in division action.
