Law Enforcement Drug Raid in Renovo

RENOVO – There was a daylight drug raid in East Renovo today but no one in officialdom will publicly comment on it.

A Record photographer attempted to get near the scene but was denied access. Neighbors said armed law enforcement officers broke into a residence allegedly occupied by a former Philadelphia resident. Nearby residents said those carrying out the raid carried shields and rifles.

No information was provided by area police. therecord-online has learned the raid was part of an ongoing effort against drugs in the area and a full release on the incident will be released at some point in the future.
