STATE COLLEGE – State College police have arrested a Mill Hall man and charged him in the Monday night robbery of the Minit Mart on North Atherton Street.

Allen Stoltzfus, 26, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with felony robbery and theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property misdemeanors. Stoltzfus was arraigned today before District Judge Thomas Jordan; bail was set at $100,000 and he was committed to the Centre County Corrections Facility in lieu of the monetary bail. A preliminary hearing was set for March 16.

The police report said a white male entered the store wearing a dark colored jacket with his hood up. The suspect walked to the register and demanded money while concealing one of his hands inside his jacket. The store clerk who reported the robbery to police believed the suspect was holding a weapon concealed under his jacket.

Police said the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, walking westbound in the 400 block of West College Avenue.
