Sugar Valley Man Victim in Fatal Crash

FLEMINGTON — State police reported today that one of the drivers has died, the result of a two-car crash in Flemington Friday evening.

Investigating officer Stephen Dunkle identified the victim as John F. Wagner, 91, of Loganton. His report said the Wagner vehicle had traveled from the Clinton Lanes parking lot onto High St. and into the path of a south-bound vehicle driven by Chelsea Miller, 26, of Beech Creek.

Trooper Dunkle said that several hours after the crash police were notified that Wagner had expired due to accident injuries.

Police did not report if there were any injuries to Miller or a passenger in the Wagner car, Kathleen Wagner, 79, of Loganton.

The accident occurred at 6:23 p.m. Friday and resulted in the closing of High Street for several hours.
