CM Football Head Coach Application Deadline Friday

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — Midnight Friday is the deadline to file an application for those seeking to become Central Mountain’s next head football coach.

All football coaching positions became open when the district did not offer to renew the contracts for the existing staff; these included head coach Mike Nines who was let go after two years and a 3-17 record.

At last report the district had received applications from seven candidates, including three with previous high school head coaching experience elsewhere. The Wildcats have had four head coaches over 17 years, starting with Mike Packer, then Steve Turchetta, Vinnie Kishbaugh and most recently Nines.
