FARWELL – The Bucktail High School Student Council has once again decided to recognize our outstanding students with the Student Spotlight of the month. Each month, teachers are asked to nominate a boy and girl who best represent the academic qualities and values of a Bucktail Buck. Below are the tenth grade winners for January, along with some comments from their teacher on what makes them outstanding students.

Katelyn Pick: Katelyn’s favorite subject in school is History, but her favorite teacher is Mrs. Getz. Her favorite thing about school is seeing all her friends. Katelyn is undecided on what career she would like to pursue in the future. Outside of school, Katelyn enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, as well as dancing. Mrs. Wagner says, “Katelyn is hard-working, goes above and beyond what is expected of her and she is very helpful to everyone.”
