LHU Men’s Basketball Downed by Huskies
BLOOMSBURG – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (10-7 6-7 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East game at Bloomsburg University today, 78-49.
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) led the way for the Bald Eagles, scoring 13 points.
Elijah Cooper (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) added nine points and three players netted six points apiece, including Julian Bond (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh), who hit a pair of 3’s.
Walker added four rebounds and two assists.
The Bald Eagles got 25 points off the bench and scored 13 off Bloomsburg turnovers.
Bloomsburg (9-7, 7-5 PSAC) used a strong scoring run late in the first half and got double-digit scoring from three players on the way to the win.
LHU returns to action on Wednesday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. when the Bald Eagles host East Stroudsburg University.
