Wildcats Fall 59-41 on the Road at Shik

cm-basketballSUNBURY – In a road trip battle with the one of the leaders in the Heartland Conference, Central Mountain fell victim to an extremely tough Shikellamy Brave defense, falling 59-41.

The Wildcats also failed to cash in on opportunities during the contest and were held to single digits in two quarters, scoring only 8 points in the first and third periods.

While CM stuttered, the Braves took advantage of the situation leading 25-18 at the half, 40-26 after three quarters and outscored the Wildcats 19-6 in the final period for the 18 point margin of victory.

The only player to break double digit scoring was Brody Baker with 14, followed by Justin Neff with 8. Kyle Everhart and Landon Breon both scored 4 points, while Cordell Muthler added 3, Wyatt Bumbarger had 2 and Alex Garbrick added 1 from the foul line.

Next up for the Wildcats is another road trip to Midd-West on Jan. 16, 2016.
