Morgan Has Record Setting Night

bucks-basketballBLOOMSBURG – The Lady Bucks romped over CMVT 60-21. In that effort Maria Morgan added a few more stats to the Lady Buck basketball record book. Morgan’s big night ended up with a triple-double as she had 15 assists and 10 steals to go along with 29 points. With the effort, Morgan broke the all time Lady Bucks career scoring record of 1,347 in which Holly Edwards held for 14 years. Morgan scored her record breaking point at the 54.4 mark of the first quarter. The junior is now at 1,365. The Lady Bucks are now 5-4 on the season and travel next to Montgomery on Monday evening.

Tiffany Werts also had career marks of 18 points to go with her double-double of 11 rebounds on the evening. These two girls combine for 26 of the 31 points scored in the first quarter.
